Senior Pastor
Susan Spieth
Susan is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (West Point) and served five years in the Army before attending Ashland Theological Seminary. Susan was ordained in the UMC in 1996, and served as pastor/associate pastor for 17 years before writing a fictional book series about her experiences at West Point (The Gray Girl Series.) She also authored a book called I Was a Stranger: Reflections From First-Time Visits to 50 Churches. After ten years, Susan came back to pastoral ministry at Arlington UMC in June 2021. She and her husband, Bob, have two adult children and three pets.

Shannon White
Shannon received her Bachelor of Arts in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University, and earned her Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University Divinity School. Before entering ministry full-time, Shannon was a bank marketing executive. She has been able to meld her executive skills and ministry skills for great growth and development work in churches. Shannon serves as the Pastor of Congregational Growth at Arlington UMC.
