The Arlington Food Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. We strive to keep a supply of non-perishable food items on hand at all times. Those seeking assistance are asked to bring a picture ID and come to the rear entrance of the church. The Arlington Food Pantry is intended to be used for emergency use and not for long term use.
The Arlington Food Pantry is maintained in memory of our friend, Martha Barton. Martha taught our congregation much about helping those in need and how in the process we can also make friends.
To keep the pantry stocked, we collect food every 2nd Sunday of the month.
If you would like to bring food items, call the church office for a list of items. Or, feel free to bring any of the items we always try to stock:
- Instant Oatmeal
- Fruit Cocktail
- Applesauce
- Tuna
- Saltines
- Spaghetti Noodles
- Spaghetti Sauce
- "Chunky" Soup
- Vegetable Soup
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Green Beans
- Green Peas
- Canned Corn
- Peanut Butter
- Chili
