COME TOGETHER Homecoming

May 6-7, 2017

Arlington United Methodist Church has been serving the south Nashville

community for 143 years.

We are hosting a “Come Together” homecoming weekend celebration for

May 6-7th.

Saturday, May 6, will be a community fun/fellowship day

with activities, games, and a cookout.

Many local dignitaries such as the Mayor, Sheriff, Councilpersons, and

State Representatives have been invited.

Sunday, May 7, will be a day of worship, thanksgiving, and praise.

We have a special worship service planned that will include

the Bishop, our District Superintendant, and several former pastors.

The weekend will conclude with a potluck lunch after worship which will include

a time of story telling and  remembrances from our

present and former members and pastors.

Many have called Arlington ‘home’ over the years.

It has a very special place in our hearts.

We invite you to Come Together and celebrate Arlington

and it’s history on May 6 - 7, 2017.

As you can see, we have many events and activities planned but

it will not be as special unless you are there.

Make plans to attend the weekend to reminisce with old friends,

to celebrate Arlington, and most importantly,

to praise and worship God.
